Cigar City & Kickback's Beer Dinner

Reception offering: Guava Grove Saison, 8% ABV.

1st Course: Jai Alai IPA (7.5% ABV) is complimented by a subtly spicy paella, featuring sausage, muscles and chicken.

2nd Course: Humidor Series, Cedar Aged Jai Alai IPA (7.5% ABV) is set to compliment a cedar smoked salmon cake with swiss chard and a Jai Alai Aioli.

3rd Course: A firkin of Jai Alai IPA has been conditioned with peaches and acai in a truly unique and one of a kind real ale experience and is paired with a light salad of baby spinach, arugula, gorgonzola and a blueberry/acai vinaigrette, topped with peaches and almonds.

Intermezzo offering: A very rare and special beer will be poured, style to be kept as a well guarded secret until the very last minute...

4th Course: Big Sound Scotch Ale (8.5% ABV) is paired with braised lamb and sauteed asparagus with a mint and Big Sound sauce.

5th Course: Improvisacion O.R.I.B.A. (Oatmeal Rye India-style Brown Ale)(8.5% ABV) is served with a barbecue grilled and spice-rubbed pork loin, a parsnip puree and “Improvisacion” sauce.

6th Course: Maduro Oatmeal Brown Ale (5.5% ABV) and Bolita Brown- Double Nut Brown Ale (9% ABV) are paired with a Caribbean jerk-spice rubbed chicken topped with a pineapple salsa.

7th Course: Marshal Zhukov’s Imperial Stout (11.5% ABV) and 110K + OT (Batch #2) I.R.I.S 2009 (11.5% ABV) compliment a hearty beef stew.

8th Course: Capricho Oscuro (10% ABV) pairs beautifully with a Maduro Oatmeal Brown and raspberry lambic brownie topped with a vanilla mousse.

Wayne and I will be at Kickbacks for this beer dinner and are looking forward to meeting some Jacksonville area beer lovers.
